PanchaKarma

What is Panchakarma

Panchakarma, five therapies in Sanskrit, is a comprehensive ayurvedic remedy to revitalize our body and optimize its natural capability to eliminate toxic substances and enter into a state of continuous rejuvenation.

It is a blend of five intense ayurvedic steps administered to heal, cleanse and detoxify your body, remove the doshas and correct imbalances. Ama (as called in ayurveda), the toxic substance gathered in our body due to lifestyle and dietary irregularities and poor exercise regime, results in diseases and loss of vigour. Panchakarma, through rigorous application of herbal oils, massages and unique diet, purifies the body at a deep level and eliminates the body wastes through natural channels. It also improves metabolism, boosts immunity, balances weight, opens up blocked channels, strengthens tissues and reduces stress.

Undergo a positive transition brimming with renewed strength, improved health and youthfulness. Experience the joy of Panchakarma!

Panchakarma: The Five Therapies

The whole process of Panchakarma is broken into five distinct therapies which are followed daily for a particular period to purify your body and flush out the harmful wastes and toxins. Each therapy is customized to individual needs and ailments by our seasoned therapists followed by impeccable administration to ensure best results.

1. Vamana (for kapha dosh)

Administered specially for those suffering from kapha dosha, Vamana removes loosened toxins resting in the upper cavities of the body by inducing vomiting with the help of emetic medicine and decoction.

Suggested for patients suffering from Bronchitis, Asthma, Hyperacidity, Obesity, and Lung Congestion.

2. Virechana (for pitta dosh)

The objective of Virechana is to remove excess bile (Pitta in Sanskrit) build up in gall bladder, small intestine and liver. Once the toxins loosen up, Pitta is removed by inducing bowel movement with the help of herbal laxative.

Suggested for patients suffering from Herpes Zoster, Jaundice, Colitis, Celiac disease, Skin Inflammation, Acne, Rashes and Nausea.

3. Basti(for vata dosh)

The most powerful therapy of Panchakarma, Basti enables release of loosened toxins from the body through the colon with the help of herbal enema. The process includes administration of medicated oil, ghee and fatty substances inside the rectum to cure various chronic diseases.

Suggested for patients suffering from Constipation, Piles, Arthritis, Distention, Sexual Disorder, Heart Pain, Back Pain, Sciatica and other Joint Pains.

4. Nasya

This therapy clears the head and nose region through administration of herbal nasal drops through both nostrils. The oily drops slowly penetrate the central nervous systems, moisturize the dry nerves and cleanse the sinuses of excessive mucus.

Suggested for patients suffering from Headache, Migraine, Sinusitis, Convulsion, Loss of Memory, Reduced Sensory Perception, Sleep Disorders, Neurological Disorders, and Respiratory Conditions.

5. RaktaMokshana

A blood purification therapy, RaktaMokshana can be performed over a specific part of the body or all through the body, depending upon individual ailment.

Suggested for patients suffering from Skin Disorders such as Urticaria, Rashes, Herpes, Eczema, Acne, Pigmentation and Chronic Itching.
